Description
Wire coiling unit (From a Plant for fire aluminizing steel wire)
The wire winding device consists of a 12-fold winding unit which winds up the finished coated wires. The wires can be wound onto one-piece or separable machine spools. The wires are wound up oscillating through a laying device. (Detailed technical information can be found in the manufacturer's technical documentation).
The winding speed is monitored and controlled by incremental encoders attached to the deflection rollers Fig. 33. The speed on each individual winder can be set and controlled independently.
The minimum speed is 2 m/min, the maximum speed is 120 m/min.
The maximum winding diameter is 800 mm, the maximum winding width 500 mm.
The maximum spool weight is 900 kg
The spools are clamped flush on the drive shaft by a taper lock, clamping and unclamping is done manually by a trapezoidal thread lock.
After completion of the winding process, the finished bobbins are released from the shaft and moved out of the winder manually via a carriage. After cooling, the coated wire is levelled and tracked by guide rollers.
The track-distributed wires are fed to the individual rewinders.
There is a straightening roller unit in front of each rewinder; each individual wire is straightened before the winding process. The wire runs through lateral and radial guide rollers directly in front of the winder.
The wire is wound onto the winder in an oscillating manner. The oscillation takes place via a laying module. The laying speed is analogue to the spooling speed. The winding width is set manually to the spool width.
The speed is recorded via the incremental encoder on the deflection roller and the wire length is recorded and analysed in the system's DCS.
